Event organizers estimated 100 people had bought a plate by 11 a.m., and the event had several hours left to go. A large group of motorcyclists who were “Riding for Audrey” to the event were expected to arrive at any minute.

Community members mingled over their pancakes, sipped coffee and orange juice and bought raffle tickets.

Proceeds from the event will go towards Hohman’s medical bills that were not covered by insurance.

All ingredients for the breakfast were donated.
