Deputies arrived at a residence on Southeast Tumala Mountain Road in an attempt to arrest Brandon Stavenjord, 41, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 19.

Stavenjord, who was wanted on a felony parole warrant, was allegedly refusing to come out of the residence.

According to a brief press release issued by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, the Clackamas County SWAT Team was called in because of Stavenjord’s past criminal history and access to weapons.

Authorities say that nearby residents on Southeast Tumala Mountain Road and Southeast Kemp are not in any immediate danger, but should stay away from the scene due to heavy police activity.

The investigation is continuing.
