Free Concert

at Wonser Woods

Rock group Hyatus will play a free show from 6-10 p.m. Friday, June 23, at Wonser Woods Estate, 24250 S. Raney Lane. The event is open to all ages, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Visit with Animals

Out to Pasture Sanctuary will host a volunteer work day and animal visitation day from 1-4 p.m. Saturday, June 17. Participants can visit the rescued animals or choose from a variety of chores to help out with. Vegan snacks and drinks will also be available. Bible Journaling Class

Motorcycle Show

Grace Place Senior Living will host a motorcycle show from 1-3:30 p.m. on Father's Day, Sunday, June 18. The day will also feature music, games and refreshments. Vacation Bible School

The Estacada Farmers Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays through Sept. 30, outside Wade Creek House Antiques, 664 N.W. Wade St.

Fire District Open House

The Estacada Rural Fire District will host its annual open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at 261 S.E. Fifth Ave.

Estacada Uncorked

Estacada Uncorked, the annual family-friendly wine, food and microbrew event, is scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, June 24, on Broadway Street. Admission is $15 for adults, and children may attend for free. Admission price includes a commemorative glass and live music.

Garden Tour

Wade Creek House Antiques' seventh-annual garden tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 15. Proceeds benefit the Estacada Community Center. Gardeners interested in joining the tour should call Wade Creek House at 503-630-7556.

Old Time Cruise to Estacada

The annual Old Time Cruise to Estacada, hosted by the Route 26 Cruisers, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Timber Park, 30878 N.W. Evergreen Way. American Legion Car Show

The annual Estacada American Legion Carl Douglas Post car show is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Viewpoint Restaurant & Lounge, 20189 S. Springwater Road. The Estacada spinning and fiber arts group meets from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Fridays at Betty Veveiros CPA, 309 S.W. Highway 224.

Coffee with Firefighters

Estacada fire holds a community coffee at 9 a.m the first Tuesday of each month at the fire station, 445 S.E. Currin St. The event is an opportunity to meet firefighters and staff, ask questions and learn about the district.

Wednesday Senior Lunches

Grace Place Assisted Living offers lunch for all local seniors every Wednesday. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Grace Place dining hall and is followed by bingo. Lunch is $4, and bingo is $1. Grace Place is at 380 N.W. Sixth Ave.


City Council

Chamber lunch

Sandy Police Chief Ernie Roberts will be the speaker at the Estacada Chamber of Commerce's June leadership luncheon. He will discuss Estacada law enforcement and plans for the future. The event is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 15. Annual Membership meeting and regular Board meeting

The Estacada Community Center Annual Meeting for members will be at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, and will be followed at 5 p.m. by the regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors. The regular Board meeting is open to the public.

Free Saturday breakfast

Estacada Community Outreach will host a free breakfast from 8-11 a.m. Saturday, June 17, at the center. All are welcome.

Elaine Latham's "Let Us Entertain You" musical show and dinner

Elaine Latham's "Let Us Entertainment You" musical show and dinner at will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 17, at the center. The cost is $10 per person, and all proceeds will benefit Meals on Wheels. Call 503-630-7454 to reserve a seat.  

Zumba classes

Zumba classes are held at the center from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday evenings and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. some Saturday mornings. Zumba is $5 per class, or $25 for a monthly pass. Call 503-680-4338 for more information.

Dance Fitness with Susan

Exercise to music for all fitness levels on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with Susan Wagner at the center from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Weekday lunches and games

Lunch is served in the center's dining room for all ages at noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with full salad bar on Tuesdays and Fridays. Donations are suggested for seniors; lunch is $4 for those under 60. Chicken foot dominoes follows Monday and Thursday lunches. Bingo follows lunch on Tuesday and Friday. Free Tai Chi classes

Free Tai Chi classes for ages 12 and up are held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays at the center.

Seniors exercise class

Exercise classes for seniors are held at 9:30 a.m. Mondays and Thursdays at the center.

Tae Kwon Do classes

Tae Kwon Do classes for ages 8 and up are held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays downstairs at the center. Call 503-975-7119 for information and cost.

Library, ping-pong, puzzles and computer solitaire

Drop in to the Community Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.


Caregivers Support Group

Grace Place Senior Living hosts a monthly support group for caregivers. Those who care for individuals who are elderly or suffering from terminal or mental illnesses are encouraged to attend. The group meets from 3-4 p.m. the first Wednesday of every month at Grace Place, 380 N.W. Sixth Ave.

Alcoholics Anonymous

An Alcoholics Anonymous group meets from 7-8 p.m. every Thursday at the Assembly of God Church, 478 N.W. Wade St. Another AA group meets from 7-8:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays at St. Aloysius Parish, 297 N.W. Broadway St.

Narcotics Anonymous

A Narcotics Anonymous group meets at 7 p.m. Wednesdays at 295 N.W. Wade St. Call 503-290-4507 for more information.

Grief share

The Grief Share group is there for people who have lost a close friend or loved one, helping to turn mourning into acceptance and to remind them of the joy that remains in life. The program consists of a 13-week study utilizing a workbook, videos and discussion. Confidentiality is required of all who attend. Grief Share meets from 2-4 p.m. Mondays and 4-6 p.m. Thursdays at Clackamas Valley Baptist Church, 29275 S.E. Eagle Creek Road.
