Clackamas County leaders recently announced openings on the Aging Services Advisory Council, Developmental Disabilities Council and the Leaders for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council.
The Leaders for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council has six three-year openings. The council examines processes to recommend and facilitate changes that create more inclusiveness, cultivate leadership from diverse communities, increase community participation in county government and promote and support diversity awareness and education.
The council meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.
The Aging Services Advisory Council has five vacancies, each of which carries a three year term. The group advises the Clackamas County Area Agency on Aging on its area plan and seeks opinions from the public on services needed. The council meets the second Monday of each month.
The Developmental Disabilities Advisory Council has up to 12 three-year openings for advocates, family members or providers. The group meets four times per year to advise Clackamas County's Developmental Disabilities Director about programs and services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Applications for the three groups are available online at www.bitly.com/ClackCoABCs or in paper form by calling the county's Public & Government Affairs Department at 503-655-8751.
