Cruise in brings hot cars to city's Timber Park
There were a variety of vehicles at Timber Park for the annual Old Time Cruise to Estacada. Organized by the Route 26 Cruisers, the event took place Saturday, Aug. 5.
This was the first year the event was held in Timber Park rather than downtown Estacada, and organizers used some of the extra space to add vendors.
Cars competed in a variety of categories, including custom built, rat rod, grocery getter, stock and custom motorcycles and decades spanning from 1929 and earlier to 2000 and newer.
Among other winners, Bill McCauley and his 1966 Malibu took first place for host car; Terry and Jan Wahlstrom and their 1956 Chevy Bel Air took second place for host car; Barbara Hussey and her 1955 Chevy Bel Air won kids' choice, and Dick Pedro and his 1955 Dodge Royal won A&W Choice.
