Andre B. Coleman, 37, of Estacada, was arrested several times for trespassing, harassment

What started as the arrest of a verbally abusive man in downtown Estacada in the days leading up to Christmas continued after the holiday with his subsequent arrests on similar charges.

Andre B. Coleman, 37, of Estacada, was taken into custody for second-degree trespassing and lodged at Clackamas County Jail on 1,500 bail at around 2:20 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22. The arrest followed multiple complaints that Coleman had been verbally harassed people and that he had been asked to leave several locations where he had been formally prohibited from entering.

Then, a day later at about 3:30 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious person — who turned out to be Coleman — at a business in the 300 block of South Broadway Street. Police determined the business, as well and multiple others, wanted Coleman removed from the property for numerous instances of inappropriate and threatening behaviors.

This time, Coleman was arrested for second-degree disorderly conduct and second-degree trespassing and was lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on $3,000 bail.

Then, on Wednesday, Dec. 27, Coleman was arrested for a third time — this time for second-degree criminal trespassing — in the 200 block of South Broadway Street. He was lodged at Clackamas County Jail on $1,500 bail.

Then, at around 8:46 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, he was arrested for a fourth time, this time in the 300 block of Southeast Main Street under suspicion of criminal trespassing at multiple locations. He was transported to the Clackamas County Jail, and lodged on $3,000 bail.
