Beverly Rae Watkins

Beverly Rae Watkins, a resident of Eagle Creek, died Friday, Dec. 21, in Clackamas. She was 78.

A funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Beverly was born Oct. 14, 1934, in Sandy, to Russell and Grace (Davis) Watkins. She graduated from Estacada High School and was a caregiver for her mother.

Beverly lived in Eagle Creek for all of her life. She enjoyed music, word puzzles, reading and nature. She also loved her animals.

Her parents and sister, Barbara, preceded her in death.

Beverly is survived by her life-long friends, Don and Mitzie Jaun of Eagle Creek, Michael Jaun of Eagle Creek and Paul and Karen Sanders of Damascus.

Mary Anita Perry

May 30, 1943-Dec. 24, 2012

Estacada resident, Mary Perry, died at her home Monday, Dec. 24, 2012. She was 69.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, Jan. 7, at Reynolds Cemetery in Addison, Ohio.

Mary was born May 30, 1943, in Gallipolis, Ohio, to Carlos and Eloise Perry. She was raised in Manassas, Va. and lived in West Virginia and Tennessee before moving to Estacada, Oregon in June 2012 to live with her daughter.

Mary often held down several jobs when she was younger, doing whatever it took to make ends meet for her children.

Mary is survived by her sons, Von Moore of Manchester, Tenn., Anthony Ray of South Shore, Ky.; daughter, Karena Stalcup of Estacada; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two uncles.

Maurine A. Hoffman

Nov. 13, 1952-Dec. 18, 2012

Estacada resident Maurine Hoffman died Tuesday, Dec. 18, in Clackamas. She was 60.

A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 5, at Estacada First Baptist Church.

Maurine was born Nov. 13, 1952, in Alameda, Calif., and grew up there. She married Dan Hoffman in 1984 in Vancouver.

They made their home in Beaverton before moving to Estacada in 1989. Maurine was the office manager for the family trucking business. Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Hoffman of Estacada; daughter, Dawn Marie Hoffman-Linngren of Estacada; sons, Daniel Hoffman Jr. of Salem and Jeffrey Allen Hoffman of Everett, Wash.; brother, Ronald Bain of Alameda, Calif.; sister, Donna Carter of Boise, Idaho; and 10 grandchildren.

Kennion Thomas Beebe

Feb. 25, 1939-Dec. 24, 2012

Estacada resident, Kennion Beebe, died at his home Monday, Dec. 24. He was 73.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Estacada First Baptist Church. Burial will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Coburg, Oregon.

Kennion was born Feb. 25, 1939, in Eugene, Oregon to Elvy and Edna (Clark) Beebe. He graduated from South Eugene High School. In 1975, Kennion moved to Estacada. He worked for the Estacada Community Senior Center, retiring in 2000.

Kennion enjoyed photography and nature. He was a longtime member of the Estacada First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his sister, Lucinda Gaines of McAllister, Okla.; three nieces; two nephews; and numerous cousins and friends.
