by: ISABEL GAUTSCHI - Jonathan Rhue stands before the Oregon Trail Chiropractic Clinic. He cant wait to paint the building off-white.Jonathan Rhue is just the chiropractor for Estacada.

“I get the big logger and the little grandmother and everyone in between,” he said. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to be in Estacada.”

Six months ago, Rhue expanded his Boring-based practice to Estacada. He took over the former Estacada Chiropractic Clinic. The bright blue building across from the junior high is now part of Rhue’s Oregon Trail Chiropractic practice.

In addition to chiropractic care, Oregon Trail Chiropractic offers basic physical therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, heat therapy and massage at its locations in Estacada and Boring.

A massage therapist practices at each location a couple days a week.

Rhue is the only chiropractor for the practice. He generally spends half of every weekday at each clinic.

Rhue’s specialties range from treating recurrent headaches, sciatica pain, stress-related ailments, plantar fasciitis and low back pain.

As a physically “big chiropractor” Rhue can treat a wide variety of patients.

He is capable of giving chiropractic care to “big loggers and contractors.”

However, he treats “everyone from kids to geriatric patients and they seem to leave happy.”

Oregon Trail Chiropractic is accepting new patients and can usually work a patient in the same day they call to make an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome.

As the Estacada Clinic’s practice continues to grow, Rhue gets closer to a goal he’s harbored since acquiring the building.

He can’t wait to paint the bright blue building off-white. He hopes this endeavor will endear him to the community.

“The more business I get, the quicker I can paint it,” he promised.
