Bob’z U-Cut Tree Farm is one family (and dog) friendly option.

Leave your car in the spacious parking lot and pick up a bow saw and knee pad for comfortable tree hunting.

Mike Abbott, owner of the farm, says the u-cut farm is known for its high-quality amenities.

by: ISABEL GAUTSCHI - What a strange forest you have! Bob'z employees Shane Mills and Mike Snitchler stand amid firs, palms and a monkey tree.Customers can wander down clean, well-kept trails as they browse the noble, grand and Douglas firs for their tree of choice.

“I like to use cage-free, free-range Christmas trees,” Abbott jokes.

Don’t be shocked when you wander past an odd palm tree, monkey tree or bamboo — Abbott also runs Bob’z Garden Center in Aloha.

“It’s a nice level field and offers a good variety of trees. Not so muddy,” Abbott said.

Once you’ve felled your tree, Bob’z staff will haul it back to your vehicle for you.

They’ll also send it through the shaker to get rid of loose needles before loading it.

Flocking is also available.

“All with a smile,” said employee Mike Snitchler.
