Here are some tips to help you shape up for spring (because summer will be herebefore you know it and we all want to wear shorts and look good in a swimsuit.)

Book a Physical. We all hate to go to the doctor's office,

but it's important to getthings like blood pressure,

cholesterol, and vitamin deficiencieschecked before you

change up your workout.

Buy New Running Shoes. You've been running on the

treadmill all winter and you have worn out your shoes!

Most shoes last between 300 and 400 miles—but if you

wear them at other times, that wear and tear counts,

too.

Pump Up Your Playlist. It's spring, not winter! Time for

some new tunes to work out with!

Clean Out Your Pantry. No more Christmas or Valentine

candy! No more chips, pretzels, white bread or cookies!

Load your fridge with veggies and fruit, your pantry with

whole grains and yourself with healthy goodness!

Update Your WorkoutWardrobe. It's time for newfangled

breathable, wicking workout clothes in bright colors! Get new support undergarments as well, they are only good for about 6 months. You know you love your new workout togs!

Check in with a personal trainer to fine tune. Nate and his staff love to do this, it's their job! They are at The Gym 25/7 and have the expertise and enthusiasm to get you on the path to fitness.

Don't wait any longer, call The Gym today!
