Your HVAC system can play a big role during the allergy season. Here's how.

Keep the air filter clean. Indoor/outdoor air pollutants

include pollen, dust mites, mold, and pet dander, which

circulate through the air in your home. Your HVAC system has an air filter that catches them, but over time, the filter needs to be washed, cleaned, and/or replaced. If this isn't done a regularly, the buildup will be recirculated back through the air.

Keep up on regular maintenance appointments for your HVAC system. Spring is the perfect time to set up a maintenance appointment with our experienced team

at Hybrid Heating and Air Conditioning. We will clean

your filters, complete an efficiency check to make sure

the system is working at peak efficiency, and perform a close inspection.

Consider installing an air purification system to your

home. These work with your HVAC system to clean your

air and reduce your intake of indoor air pathogens, allergens and other harmful particles. There is a lot of extra pollen floating around in the air this time of year, causing

allergy sufferers misery. Thankfully, there are ways to reduce your symptoms and breathe easier!

Contact us today for more information on getting new air filters, a new HVAC system, or air purification system installed in your home before allergy season gets even more intense!
