Local parents are invited to attend a morning workshop to help their children achieve success
Oregon's Chief Education Officer Rudy Crew will be the keynote speaker at a free half-day workshop for parents on Saturday, Jan. 26, part of the Forest Grove School District's new Parent Academy. The workshop, which starts at 7:45 a.m., will be held at Joseph Gale Elementary School, 3130 18th Ave. in Forest Grove. Fifteen different sessions will be offered, all aimed at equipping parents to help their children be successful in school. The sessions are taught by staff members who are experts in those areas.
