The Ford Focus and Toyota Prius now parked in Lot F off University Avenue will be available to the general public, as well as the university community. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Zipcar representatives will staff an information booth in the University Center, where people can sign up for the service. Zipcar is the world's largest car-sharing network, renting self-service vehicles by the hour or day. The unveiling will include a half-hour program beginning at noon, with remarks by John Hayes, director of Pacific's Center for a Sustainable Society, and John Miller, provost and vice president for academic affairs.
