Nearly 50 third- and fourth-graders from the Forest Grove Community School dug holes Monday morning, April 22, to help plant two Linden trees at Rogers Park with help from members of Forest Grove’s Community Forestry Commission. The deciduous trees will get about 80 feet tall and their crowns will be 60 feet wide. The kids celebrated two holidays in one, planting on Earth Day in honor of Arbor Day.
