Sheriff's Office seeks volunteers

Foundation board looks to fill pair of vacancies

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Foundation is accepting applications for two vacancies on its volunteer board.

The board meets quarterly on the third Thursday of March, June, September and December.

The WCSO Foundation Board is representative of the area served and includes members from county neighborhoods, businesses and community participation organizations. Members of the WCSO Foundation are citizen volunteers and local business leaders who donate their time and provide leadership and experience to raise or solicit funds for WSCO programs.

These may include educational programs, programs for public awareness of operations and crime prevention; and assistance with programs that the WCSO may offer for youths, elderly and the public.
