Democratic Senator will kick off St. Patrick's Day in Washington County

Making good on a 16-year-old campaign pledge, U.S. Senator Ron Wyden will head to Forest Grove on Saturday to hold his annual Washington County town hall meetings.

Wyden has been holding town halls in every Oregon county each year since 1996. He'll start his St. Patrick's Day with a 10 a.m. meeting at the Forest Grove Senior and Community Center, 2037 Douglas Ave. As with past forums, the event will be open to the public and Wyden, a Portland Democrat, will field questions from the audience.

After Forest Grove, Wyden will travel to Clatsop County to hold a town meeting in Astoria. On Sunday, he'll travel to The Dalles and Hood River.
