Annie lights up Forest Grove stage

Loveable orphan makes her way to Theatre in the Grove

The sun will come out tomorrow. Or on July 20, when Annie comes to the stage of Theatre in the Grove.

Starring in one of the world's most memorable musicals, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts, despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. She is determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan.

With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie engages in adventure after fun-filled adventure, foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations and befriends President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

She finds a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary Grace Farrell and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Performance dates are July 20, 21, 27, 28 at 7 p.m. and July 22 and 29 at 2:30 p.m.

Tickets are general seating and are $5 for adults $3 for children under 18 and are available at the door one hour before each performance. You can also purchase tickets online at theatreinthegrove.org.
