by: PHOTO COURTESY OF PACIFIC UNIVERSITY - In honor of Womens History Month, Pacific Universitys Kathrin Cawein Gallery of Art will display books by 11 female artist-storytellers through March 21. The March exhibit will feature artists who share stories through handmade books, such as Trisha Hassler, whose work She was Hoping for a Little More Predictability is pictured above. The works of ShuJu Wang, Susan Collard, Laurie Weiss, Helen Hiebert, Diane Jacobs, Nancy Pobanz, Laura Russell, Andie Trams, Claire Carpenter and Patty Grass will also be on display. The artists will discuss their work at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 5. A reception will follow. Admission is free. The gallery is located inside Scott Hall, 2125 College Way, and is open 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
