A listing of events and activities coming up this week in the western Washington County area.


PARK OPENING — Orenco Woods Nature Park grand opening celebration will be held at noon, Saturday, Feb. 4. Northwest 224th and Birch in Old Orenco. Refreshments, geocaching. The public is invited to attend. Free.

FIRST TUESDAY — Downtown Hillsboro's First Tuesday Artwalk takes place Tuesday, Feb. 7, beginning at 5 p.m. Various businesses and galleries in the downtown area stay open late for artist receptions. Live music, refreshments. Free.

CONCERT — Annalisa Tornfelt plays the Walters Cultural Arts Center, 527 E. Main St., Hillsboro, on Friday, Feb. 10. 7:30 p.m. Tickets: $15 advance, $20 at the door.

NEW YEAR — Washington County Museum's International New Year Celebration, cancelled in January due to inclement weather, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 11. Guests will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities, crafts and games, and interact with staff from Centro Cultural, the Ukranian-American Cultural Organization, Hope Chinese Charter School and the India Cultural Association. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free. 120 E. Main St., Hillsboro.
