The Wildcats baseball team is a highly successful program with conference and district championships, and two trips to the National Junior College World Series in the past four years. The program has seen many players earn scholarships to continue their education at NCAA colleges and universities, multiple players drafted into Major League Baseball, and academic honors for success in the classroom.

The left-handed centerfielder is the son of Mark and Jennifer Bennett of Forest Grove. In 2010 he was named second team All-Pacific Conference Outfielder. Last spring he batted .513 for the Vikings and struck out just four times in 76 at bats.
