2011 Outstanding High School Educator Awards

The Portland Tribune and Community Newspapers and the OSU College of Business are seeking nominations for the 2011 Outstanding High School Educator Awards. The awards will recognize five educators who use innovative and exemplary instructional strategies to enhance student learning.

Criteria: Nominee must be a high school educator (teacher, adviser or administrator) in Oregon or Clark County, Washington with at least two years of experience as an educator.

Recognition: $500 cash prize and recognition at the College of Business' 2011 Alumni & Business Partner Awards dinner on May 3, 2011 at the Governor Hotel in Portland.

Submission: Submit nominations online at www.portlandtribune.com/forms/educator_award.php or by mail to Sue Curran, The Portland Tribune, 6605 S.E. Lake Road, Portland, OR 97222.

Deadline: Nominations must be received by April 8, 2011.
