Tillstrom Road closed Tuesday in Damascus

The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash on Tillstrom Road in Damascus that killed one driver and injured another.

At 3:52 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, sheriff's deputies and Boring Fire District crews responded to a report of a crash on Tillstrom Road, according to a press release.

They found a Ford F350 on its side and a Nissan Versa down an embankment to the side of the road.

The Nissan's driver had received fatal injuries. The driver of the Ford had non-life-threatening injuries; an ambulance transported him to Oregon Health and Science University.

Sheriff's investigators closed the road to investigate the crash.
