"Musicalu," a summer music series for children, will take place on Saturdays this summer at Gresham's Center for the Arts Plaza, 401 N.E. Second Ave.

Well-known acts such as The Alphabeticians, Mo Phillips, The Snail People, Toy Trains and Professor Banjo are scheduled to perform July 7 through Sept. 8.

Shows start at 11 a.m. rain or shine. Admission is free to the following acts:

• July 7: The Alphabeticians play "fun upbeat quirky kids' music for the whole family."

• July 21: Mo Phillips plays "sweet, lo-fi kindie-rock vibe for kids and adults."

• Aug. 11: The Snail People play "folk and fun interactive music."

• Aug. 25: The Toy Trains play "music for kids that won't make mom and dad sick."

• Sept. 8: Mo Phillips and Professor Banjo "perform up-temp old time tunes with sing-alongs and dancing games."
