Man stabbed in neck at Portland bar

A man was listed in critical condition after being stabbed in the neck at a Portland bar.

Portland police officers on patrol near Southeast 160th Avenue and Division Street found a man lying in a parking lot on the intersection's southeast corner at 2:14 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, said Sgt. Pete Simpson, Portland Police spokesman.

Ioan Emanuel Posteuca, 27, was lying in a pool of blood, which police attributed to an apparent stab wound in his neck.

Posteuca told police he was at a bar somewhere on 122nd Avenue, which was involved in a large fight when he was stabbed. Officers checked numerous locations but were unable to locate a crime scene, Simpson said.

Paramedics transported the man to a Portland hospital. He was listed in critical condition but is expected to survive.

Anyone with information about the assault is asked to contact assault detectives at 503 823-0400, and reference Portland Police Bureau Case 12-99128.
