Surprise party planned for Eagle Scout’s 19th birthday

A surprise 19th birthday and Eagle Scout celebration will be held for Brian Charles Geiger at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at United Methodist Church, 620 N.W. Eighth St., Gresham.

A Troutdale resident, Geiger graduated with honors at Reynolds High School in 2012 and earned his Eagle Scout rank in early 2012.

A Mt. Hood Community College student, he enjoys hiking, biking, walking, scouting and history.

Longtime Gresham resident celebrates 80th birthday

Bob Martin, a retired Foursquare pastor from Gresham, will celebrate his 80th birthday with close friends and family on Friday, Dec. 7.

A longtime resident, Martin spent most of his life in Gresham.

He is married to Janeth Martin and has three children, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
