Harding University

Portland resident William Guthridge graduated from Harding University in Searcy, Ark, on Dec. 15. Guthridge received his Bachelor of Science in public administration.

Troutdale resident Matthew Albright has been nominated by Harding University as a 2012-13 Who’s Who finalist.

A senior psychology major, Albright was nominated to represent the university in the national honors program based on his grade point average, participation and leadership within school organizations, extracurricular activities and community involvement.

If selected, Albright could receive scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $5,000.

Biola University

Gresham resident Erin Jeffries was named to the Biola University spring 2012 dean’s list. Jeffries earned a grade point average above 3.6 while enrolled in 12 or more credits and maintaining above a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
