City offers review of three transportation projects

Gresham residents are invited to talk to city staffers and comment on three transportation projects during an open house from 4:30-8:30 Tuesday, June 25, at Gresham City Hall, 1333 Northwest Eastman Parkway.

The open house will provide progress and information on these transportation projects:

• Transportation System Plan Update: Review the draft plan of transportation projects planned over the next 20 years for inclusion in the Transportation System Plan (TSP) update, which is Gresham’s comprehensive plan for its transportation system through 2035. The open house is from 4:30-7 p.m. in Room 2A.

• New Walking/Biking Path: Review design plans for this 2-mile, multi-use paved path between Southeast 197th Avenue and Northeast Hogan Drive.

The project includes a 12-foot wide paved path plus new bike lanes, lighting and landscaping features in the TriMet right-of-way along the MAX Blue Line. The open house is from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 2B.

• Southeast 190th Avenue Improvements: Review design plans for a project that includes a new signal at the intersection of Southeast 190th Avenue and Southwest Pleasant View Drive; a continuous left-turn lane on Southeast 190th Avenue between Southwest 23rd Street and Willow Parkway; and a 6-foot wide paved shoulder on both sides of Southeast 190th Ave.

The open house is from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 3A.
