Gresham police are asking for the public's help finding a possible witness to a shooting that left a man dead more than two weeks ago. by: COURTESY: CLACKAMAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE - David Allan Sanders

David Allan Sanders, 24, of Portland may have witnessed the shooting of Andreas Prince Jones, 21, of Portland, just before 7 p.m. Sunday, June 9, in the parking lot of the Rockwood Station Apartments in the 19100 block of East Burnside St., said Officer Adam Baker, Gresham Police spokesman.

During the course of the investigation, police learned that Jones was a gang member, and Sanders reportedly witnessed the shooting. Sanders has arrest warrants unrelated to the shooting, and police believe he is still in the Portland-metro area. He also may have gang ties, Baker said.

Anyone with information on where Sanders is located is encouraged to call the Gresham police tip line at 503-618-2719 or 1-888-989-3505.
