Historic paintings of the Columbia River Gorge by onetime Corbett resident Charles W. Post are being displayed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at McMenamins Edgefield, 2126 S.W. Halsey St., Troutdale.

Hosted by the Crown Point Country Historical Society, the free exhibit coincides with Edgefield's 102nd birthday celebration, which includes a documentary screening, several concerts and the Oregon Distillers Festival, among other activities.

Outlook reporter Sharon Nesbit and historians Chuck Rollins and Gary Law also will give presentations about the artist.
