Police identify homicide suspect

Police have identified the suspect as Brandon Alexander Hickman, 28, of Gresham, said Lt. Claudio Grandjean, Gresham Police spokesman. Detectives believe he may with a "key witness" identified as Ellysia Aimee Colvin, 21, also of Gresham. She is the suspect's girlfriend and they both live in the Pine Square Apartments, in the 700 block of Northeast 178th Ave., where the shooting took place just before 11 p.m. Monday, Sept. 9.

Hickman is described as an 185-pound, 6-foot-1-inch tall African-American man with short dark hair. Colvin is a 140-pound, 5-foot-6-inch tall Caucasian woman with a tattoo on her abdomen and upper left chest, and a nose ring on her right nostril. She has shoulder-length brown hair, slightly shorter than in the picture.

"Hickman should be considered armed and dangerous," Grandjean said.
