Missing man last seen in Gresham
Police are searching for a 37-year-old man from The Dalles who was last seen at 2:45 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at a convenience store in the 1800 block of Division Street in Gresham.
Patrick Nathan Terry is schizophrenic and has not been taking his medication, according to a police report. His aunt, who reported him missing, told police that he hears voices and believes there are demons. She believes he is a danger to himself and to others if he does not get his medication.
Terry has a fractured hip and is on crutches. He also has shoulder-length hair and a beard. He is white, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 160 pounds.
Terry's aunt told police she was tracking his account activity and he last used his card at a Gresham convenience store. An employee checked the surveillance footage and confirmed that Terry had been there.
The aunt said there have not been any more changes to his account.
Police believe he might be trying to get to his mother's home in Orange, Texas. He was previously seen Thursday, Feb. 2, at Portland International Airport, where he told a police officer he was trying to get a taxi to the Greyhound bus station in downtown Portland.
Anyone who knows of Terry's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1.
