Police say Jacob Harms many have victimized others

Detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office on Wednesday, Oct. 9, arrested Jacob Wayne Harms, 30, of Damascus on allegations of 26 counts of second-degree unlawful sexual penetration, second-degree sex abuse, third-degree sodomy, first-degree encouraging child sex abuse and using a child in a sex display, Sgt. Paul Coleman, sheriff's office spokesman.

He is being held at the Clackamas County Jail.

The crimes allegedly took place over a two-year period while Harms was renting a room in the home where the victim also was living. She was not related to him.

Based on photos of other girls investigators found while serving a search warrant at Harms' home, detectives believe Harms many have other victims who have not reported the abuse.
