by: CONTRIBUTED PHOTO - John LloydPolice have arrested John Lloyd, 33, of Wood Village, accusing him of delivery and possession of methamphetamine and 11 counts of felon in possession of firearm, said Lt. Steve Alexander.

At approximately 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, as part of a narcotics investigation into suspected drug dealing, Multnomah County Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Unit assisted by Gresham Special Enforcement Team issued a search warrant to a Wood Village residence at 1720 N.E. 238th Dr.

Prompted by field interviews and traffic stops conducted by Sheriff deputies of suspected drug users, investigators were able to determine Lloyd was the source of the supply.

They obtained a search warrant for his residence and a storage shed, Alexander said.

In searching Lloyd's house and shed, investigators seized drug scales, containers with residue believed to be methamphetamine, packaging materials, $5,976 in cash, a Subaru Impreza, three handguns and nine rifles.

Investigators arrested Lloyd just prior to service of the search warrant, said Alexander.

Four others were detained for questioning and released at the scene.

Police said the location has been a chronic problem and investigated in the past for stolen motorcycle parts and a booby-trapped marijuana grow, said police.

A complex counter-surveillance system was also discovered at the location, Alexander said.

Lloyd was transported and lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
