Peanut Butter Project needs help!

Skyrocketing prices and short supply have generated a need for peanut butter among agencies that help the needy, such as SnowCap Community Charities and the Oregon Food Bank.

The Peanut Butter Project is a local campaign aimed at replenishing SnowCap s supply of the protein-rich pantry staple available to clients. Residents are asked to help make the group s goal of 1,000 jars by filling a donation barrel at Donut World, 710 N.E. Burnside Road.

Cash donations, which will be used to purchase peanut butter, can be sent to the Peanut Butter Project, P.O. Box 417, Boring, 97009. Donations will be accepted through Friday, Jan. 10.
