Central City Neighborhood group meets Jan. 30

The Central City Neighborhood Association meets from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Gresham Library, 385 N.W. Miller Ave.

The public is invited to “come see your neighbors, meet staff from the city of Gresham, learn about local businesses and share your vision for our community.”

Health fair planned at Highland Elementary

A Health and Wellness Fair, free and open to the public, will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30, at Highland Elementary School, 295 N.E. 24th Ave., Gresham.

Sponsors for the fair include Multnomah County Health Department, American Red Cross, Multnomah County Library, My Kid’s Dentist, Gresham Community Gardens, the Wallace Medical Concern and more.

All kinds of health screenings will be available, including free lead testing for pregnant women and children under 6.
