The Reynolds High School event is set for Aug. 9-10

A soccer tournament honoring the memory of 14-year-old Reynolds High freshman Emilio Hoffman has been set for Saturday and Sunday, Aug 9-10.

Hoffman was killed in a school shooting at Reynolds High School on Tuesday, June 10, just a month shy of his 15th birthday. The vivacious teen was known for his love of soccer and played both for Reynolds and club teams.

The outdoor 11 on 11 soccer tournament will take place at Reynolds High School, 1698 S.W. Cherry Park Road, Troutdale. There is a $200 entry fee and a three-game minimum.

The tournament will feature 60-minute games with boys and girls brackets.

Applications and fees should be mailed by Friday, Aug. 1, to Reynolds Raiders Boys Soccer, Att: Head Coach, 1698 S.W. Cherry Park Road, Troutdale.

Entrants should include a team name; contact person; contact phone number, address and email address; and payment by check. Player clearance forms are needed.
