Art benefit

The “Warm in Winter” Open Studio Fine Art Sale & Benefit takes place from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Allegri Gallery, 44 N. Main Ave. A reception and drawing for an original Allegri framed painting, “Fragrant Arbor,” will take place from 5-8 p.m. Dec. 7.

This free event will benefit the Homeless Families Program of Human Solutions Inc. Last winter, the nonprofit agency purchased pajamas for children at local emergency shelters. Gresham-based artist Kathy Delumpa Allegri hopes to help such children this season.

“Through my art, I strive to share a vision of beauty and hope to respond to someone else’s greater need,” she says.
