Amanda Johanna-Marie Lewis and Nicholas Michael Lapp were married Saturday, May 18, at First Presbyterian Church in Portland.

The bride’s father escorted her down the aisle for the double-ring ceremony, officiated by The Rev. Bill Ehmann.

Amanda wore a strapless lace gown with a lace train and satin underlay. She also wore rings from her grandmother Johanna Marie Lewis and father. Her bouquet included variations of purple and white calla lilies.

The daughter of Donald and Nancy Lewis of Gresham, Amanda graduated from Gresham High School in 2007 and Oregon State University in 2011. She works as a financial specialist.

Nicholas is the son of Michael and Kristin Lapp of Pendleton. He graduated from Pendleton High School in 2007 and Oregon State University in 2011. Nicholas works as a deputy director of technology.

Jill Mercer, the best childhood friend of the bride, served as the maid of honor. The bride’s attendants included Erica Vrvilo, Samantha McClure, Jill Solazzo, Mallory Kuiawa and Anne Waibel.

Dennis Blew, the groom’s fraternity brother, served as best man. The groom’s attendants included Scott Butler, James Munson, Patrick Davis, Andrew Lewis and Matthew Lewis.

Reagan Heller was the flower girl and Kayla and Brooke Lapp were the candle lighters.

The wedding reception was held at The Governor Hotel in Portland.

After a honeymoon in Maui, the newlyweds are making their home in Pendleton.
