Park Place Coffee and Crepes Music Gathering
WHAT: For the past year, Park Place Coffee and Crepes has been a haven for fans of acoustic music, featuring performances by area artists as well as open mic nights for amateurs. On Jan. 20-21, the coffee house will feature a variety of performances that should satisfy any lover of Americana, folk and country music.
WHEN: Open jam 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 20, and several performers from 3 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21.

'A History of Fairview' with Nancy Hoover
WHAT: Fairview historian Nancy Hoover will be at the historic Heslin House to promote the third printing of her father William Stone's book, 'A History of Fairview,' first published in 1970. The Heslin House tour includes a visit to the historic Fairview City Jail and an exhibit of historic dolls. The Zimmerman House will also be open.
WHEN: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21.
WHERE: Heslin House, 60 Main St., Fairview; and Zimmerman House, 17111 N.E. Sandy Blvd., Portland.
COST: Admission is free to either museum, with a requested donation.
