Hilary Annes and Joshua Seidel of Sandy were married Saturday, Aug. 2, at The Seidel House in Sandy.

Josh’s grandfather, the Rev. Melvin J. Jensen, officiated the ceremony. Michael Annes, The bride’s father, walked her down the aisle.

Hilary and Josh are both 2009 Sandy High School graduates who attended Cedar Ridge Middle School together.

A 2013 Concordia University graduate, Hilary works as a labor and delivery nurse. She is the daughter of Michael and Carol Annes.

The son of Michael and Pauline Seidel, Josh works as an apprentice electrician through the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee.

Hilary wore a form-fitting, floor-length gown, along with a pearl necklace and earrings Josh gave her during the course of their relationship, which began in middle school. She carried a bouquet of sunflowers.

The maid of honor was Sarah Stuart of Boring, the bride’s best friend since birth. Her attendants were Lindsay Hatfield, Savanna Leininger, Brittany Seidel and Taylor McMahon.

Josh’s best man was his brother, Jacob Seidel of Missoula, Mont.

The groom’s attendants included Michael Gabriel, Nicholas Fox, Rustin Ray and Jordan Gray.

Honored guests were the bride’s grandmother, Shirley Mathews; the groom’s grandparents, Mel and El Jensen; and the bride’s sister and brother-in-law, Jon and Heather Brewster.

Hilary and Josh took a honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii.
