Tina Cooke of Tualatin and Fletcher Johnson of Gresham were married Saturday, July 20, at Christ Church Episcopal Parish in Lake Oswego.
Rev. Scott H. Helferty, a retired priest and longtime friend of the grooms family, and the Rev. Dr. Kenneth Dorsch officiated the double-ring ceremony.
Tina was accompanied down the aisle by her father, Jim Cooke. She used a Bible used in her mother, grandmother and great-grandmothers weddings and wore a Tiffanys bracelet given to her by the grooms mother.
Danielle Cooke, the brides sister, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Taylor Johnson, the grooms sister who also was the soloist at the wedding, singing Ava Maria, Shanley Brezen and Megan Danilson. The flower girls were Bailey, Brandy and Lexi Williamson, and the ring bearer was Daniel Sanna.
The brides special attendant was Maddie Sanna and her readers were Sarah Simmons, Kate Spiegel and Rashel Sanna.
The best man was Jeff Spiegel, the grooms friend and fraternity brother from the University of Oregon. Fletchers attendants included Joe Bailey, Matt Tracy and Dan Payne.
The daughter of Jim and Gail Cooke of Tualatin, Tina graduated from Tualatin High School in 2004 and Western Oregon University in 2008. She works as a kindergarten teacher.
Fletcher, the son of Steve and Juli Johnson, graduated from Gresham High School in 2004 and University of Oregons School of Journalism and Communication in 2008. He is a radio host for 750 AM The Game - The BFT with John Canzano/Portland Timbers MLS.
After honeymooning in Kona and Kauai, Hawaii, the couple is living in Lake Oswego.Add a comment
