â–  SUNSET 38, BARLOW 24 — The Apollos broke the game open with a pair of long scoring strikes in the fourth quarter, highlighted by Willy Pfug’s 87-yarder to Trevor Caldwell — it was Caldwell’s third scoring grab of the night.

Barlow kept pace in the first half, tying the game 14-14 at the break on a 4-yard run by Colby Winnett. Teammate Kennedy Johnson turned in an 88-yard kickoff return in the first quarter.

Barlow QB Alex Plusquellec completed 9 of 19 passes for 141 yards with Kody Kennedy pulling down five catches for 111 yards.

â–  GRESHAM 23, LINCOLN 15* — The Gophers scored three TDs of 50-yard-or-more and carried a 23-0 lead into the fourth quarter. Lincoln made a charge late, but never had possession with a chance to tie.

â–  LAKE OSWEGO 48, CENTENNIAL 7 — The reigning 6A champion Lakers took a 28-0 lead in the second quarter before Centennial got its only points of the night on a 1-yard touchdown plunge by fullback Nick Schoebel.

â–  BEAVERTON 16, REYNOLDS 13* — The Raiders took a 13-0 lead into halftime on a pair of Josh Schleining touchdown passes, but the Beavers rallied to score nine points in the final two minutes for the win.

â–  SHELDON 33, C. CATHOLIC 26 — The teams traded the lead seven times when Sheldon running back James Banks went in from 1-yard out for what proved to be the winning points in the third quarter.

The Irish scored three safeties on the night — one on a blocked punt, another on a ball kicked out of the end zone and a final one in the fourth quarter when the ball was snapped out of the end zone.

â–  D. DOUGLAS 38, S. SALEM 20 — Samson Ebukam scored three times for the Scots, highlighted by a 60-yard catch in the third quarter that put Douglas in front 31-20. South Salem was shut out in the second half.
