GRESHAM - Chemeketa was wearing its green road jerseys Wednesday night, but couldn't find the kryptonite needed to stop Mt. Hood CC guard Marcus Moore during a 94-76 loss.

The Storm took a six-point lead into the second half, but the Saints came out firing, connecting on their first four long balls. Moore hit a 3 from the corner to put Mt. Hood up 51-47 and prompt Chemeketa to call an early timeout. Coming out of the huddle, Moore set up in the same spot in front of the grandstands and swished another.

Moore's biggest highlight was yet to come when he drove down the right side and took a heavy bump as he left the ground. The 5-foot-8 Moore managed to get the shot off, and the ball hung on the side of the rim for a moment before spinning through the net as Moore picked himself up off the floor.

'I saw the open lane, got hit and put it off the glass,' Moore said. 'I was surprised to see it still up there when I looked up.'

As he stood at the foul line, his teammates started chants of 'Superman' from the bench...
