MHC BASEBALL - Raiders put up nine runs in first two innings
TROUTDALE - The Raiders opened Friday's game with five straight hits, highlighted by Scott Weidlich's RBI-double into left field, and never looked back during a 10-3 win that capped a series sweep over Centennial.
Reynolds extended its margin to 9-0 after Weidlich and Andrew Martin-Cohen connected for a pair of two-run doubles.
'It sure makes things a lot easier when you get out like that,' Reynolds coach John Cosby said. 'It takes all the pressure off, and we threw strikes and played good defense tonight.'
