A subject stole gas from the Chevron on N.W. 185th Ave.

A bike was reported stolen from the 1300 block of N.E. Carlaby Way.

In the 700 block of N.W. Autumncreek Way, an unknown subject attempted to break into a vehicle.

A utility trailer stolen out of Kaiser Police Deptarment was found near the intersection of S.E. 56th Avenue and S.E. Alexander Street.

A lawn mower was stolen from a yard in the 800 block of S.E. 32nd Avenue.

A transformer box near Clean Water Services at the intersection of S.E. River and Witch Hazel roads was tagged.

In the 3400 block of S.E. Ironwood Avenue, a homeowner called to report a single goose landed hard on his rooftop and began calling out in distress. Code Enforcement Officer McBroom arranged for rescue using Hillsboro Fire Department, who brought in all the technical rescue rigs and gear, but the goose flew the coop prior to the execution of a rescue plan.

A citizen in the 6000 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway reported their vehicle hit by a water bottle tossed from window of a moving vehicle. The suspect vehicle is a late model, white Jeep Cherokee with a large “O” in the rear window. Vehicle has no plates and an Oregon temp tag in window and has not been located yet.

Near the intersection of Baseline Road and W. Main Street, police arrested a 21-year-old man for his second DUII in seven days after running a red light and nearly sideswiping a patrol car.

Sept. 30

A purse was stolen from Panda Express in the 2200 block of Tualatin Valley Highway.

There were two traffic accidents, one involving a bicyclist, and two hit-and-run crashes.

In the 2000 block of S.E. Century Boulevard, a man reported his red BMX bike stolen while his wife and son were exploring in the woods.

Oct. 1

A theft of a camera and makeup was reported from the 900 block of S.E. Eighth Avenue.

A bike was stolen from the 7100 block of N.E. Ronler Way from outside the owner's residence.

An unknown suspect entered the apartment and stole a laptop in the 900 block of S.E. 13th Avenue.

Oct. 2

A car window was smashed in the 2000 block of S.E. Walnut Street and a purse was stolen.

A woman reported that a man rode up on a bike and stole her grocery bag that contained a Nintendo DS in the 300 block of S.W. 185th Avenue.

A 49-year-old man was arrested for stealing sock from Ross in the 2100 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway.

A man entered the AT&T store in the 2600 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway and stole three phones. He ran behind the building and got into a black BMW and drove off prior to police arrival.

A 44-year-old man was arrested after punching a woman in the face and running away. Police found him near the intersection of S.E. Third Avenue and S.E. Walnut Street and he was lodged at the Washington County Jail.

A car was keyed in the 20000 block of N.W. Quarama Road.

Oct. 3

Two vehicles were broken into in the 1200 block of S.E. 63rd Lane. A backpack and laptop were taken.

A flag was stolen from the front of a residence in the 500 block of S.E. 28th Avenue.

A man reported his weed wacker stolen from the 700 block of S.E. Seventh Avenue.

Strick Family Auto reported their security camera stolen in the 200 block of S.W. Baseline Road.

Oct. 4

Someone burglarized a home in the 300 block of N.W. Freeman Avenue.

A fraudulent check was used at the Grocery Outlet in the 1300 block of N.W. 185Th Avenue.

Oct. 5

In the 300 block of S.E. Eigth Avenue, a suspect forged medical documents then collected disability benefits from the State of Oregon.

Officers assisted with traffic control near the intersection of N.E. Jackson School Road and N.E. Baldwin Drive for more than three hours for a downed power line.

A bike was stolen from the cemetery near Baseline Road and17th Avenue.

Someone opened two cell phone accounts in the 900 block of N.E. Hood St. with someone else's information.

Oct. 6

A silver mountain bike was stolen from the 700 block of S.W. Oak Street.

A wallet and two cell phones were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of S.E. 29th Avenue.

There was an attempted house entry and possible burglary in the 1400 block of N.E. Sunrise Lane.

Two young teens were contacted by four juveniles who told them to hand over their cash and backpacks while driving a gold late model four-door Honda near S.E. 70th Avenue and S.E. Austin Drive.

Oct. 7

A 19-year-old man who once worked at a Fred Meyer gas station in the 6400 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway was caught taking close to $2,400 in gas money over a period of time.

An apartment in the 6000 block of N.E. Ronlet Way was entered through an unlocked window and burgled.

In the 6000 block of S.E. Austin Drive, a parked vehicle had its window shot out by a BB or pellet gun.

Police arrested a 20-year-old woman for punching her boyfriend several times in the face and head and then cutting up his shoes near the intersection of W. Baseline Road and S.W. Cornelius Pass Road.

Oct. 8

In the 500 block of S.E. Baseline Street, a U-haul dealer reported one of his smaller box trailers stolen.

A man in the 3500 block of N.E. Cornell Road reported his cell phone stolen.

A female employee called police after she opened the safe at her business and discovered the money stolen after she left the room for a few minutes. A man in the store at the time denied taking the money.

A man reported his laptop stolen by his roommate’s friends in the 800 block of S.E. 10th Avenue. Police are continuing the investigation.

A woman reported someone entered her vehicle while she was at work and stole her purse in the 800 block of N.E. 25th Avenue.

A 59-year-old man went into Plaid Pantry in the 1000 block of S.E. Maple Street and ate a microwave burrito, chips and a few other items, and left without paying.

Oct. 9

Police arrested a 25-year-old man after he walked around Kohl’s masturbating and exposing his genitals to shoppers in the store. He was convicted of public indecency in 2007, making this incident a felony. He was lodged at the Washington County Jail.

The Hillsboro Police Department assisted the Washington County Sheriff's Office on S.W. Hillsboro Highway south of S.W. Wood Street with a high-risk traffic stop of a vehicle with five occupants who were shooting several rounds from a handgun out the window throughout the county. A .25 caliber semi automatic was in the vehicle and all occupants admitted to firing the gun randomly out the window a they drove. Traffic was diverted for about two hours during rush hour causing excessive slowing through downtown.

A residence in the 2000 block of S.E. Primrose Court was burglarized.

Oct. 10

America's Tire Pro in the 900 block of S.W. Baseline Street had tires stolen from the shop.

A GTE pedestal near S.E. Drake Road and S.E. Century Boulevard had been painted with graffiti.

A 64-year-old woman was arrested and lodged at the Washington County Jail for possession of methamphetamine.

Oct. 11

A Chevrolet Pickup traveling north of Brookwood Avenue made a left turn onto Cornell Road and hit a motorcycle head on, killing the motorcyclist.

A 21-year-old man was arrested after assaulting a woman in the 400 block of S.E. Fourth Street.

Police arrested a man for shoplifting in the 1500 block of S.W. Oak Street.

A laptop computer was stolen from an unlocked hotel room in the 400 block of S.E. Baseline Street.

A vehicle was keyed in the 1400 block of N.E. Edgefield Street.

A cell phone was stolen from a locker in the 29000 block of N.W. Evergreen Road.

Police arrested a 37-year-old man in the 100 block of S.W. Edgeway Drive for fourth-degree assault, strangulation and harassment after assaulting his wife.

A shoplifter took $20 worth of items from Albertsons in the 7500 block of W. Baseline Road and fled.

Police arrested a 19-year-old shoplifter from Safeway in the 2100 block of N.W. 185Th Avenue.

Oct. 12

A 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback was stolen from the 3000 block of N.W. Overlook Drive.

Fishing tackle was take from a vehicle in the 6000 block of Alder Street.

Police arrested a 28-year-old man for domestic harassment in the 1200 block of N.E. 51st Avenue.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man for domestic assault.

A man reported a subject breaking his fence in the 500 S.E. 37th Avenue. Police attempted a K9 track with no success.
