The holiday season is a busy one for newspaper staffs, their readers and advertisers. So, in an effort to accommodate competing demands and ensure the most comprehensive coverage of upcoming events, the Hillsboro Tribune will slightly alter its publication schedule.

Since the debut issue of Aug. 10, the Tribune has come out twice a month. If it kept to that schedule, there would be no paper on Nov. 30, which is a big week for many advertisers and community groups. So, the staff will be adding a third week in November and then dropping to one week in December after Christmas before resuming the usual twice-monthly schedule.
