NOV. 24

A man ran his 1994 Ford Courier pickup head on into a telephone pole at S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway and 229th Avenue, seriously injuring himself and his passenger. Both were transported to Emanuel Hospital. The driver said he fell asleep.

A stolen purse belonging to a local woman was found in tree in the 900 block of N.E. Lincoln Street. The purse was originally reported missing from an unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle incident.

NOV. 25

A bike was reported stolen overnight from N.E. Carlaby Way.

An employee reported a robbery at the Jack in the Box at S.E. Cypress and S.E. 21st Avenue. The suspect displayed a box cutter-type knife and demanded cash. He fled east on a bike. Hillsboro Police set up containment while a Washington County Sheriff K-9 unit arrived to search. Robert Andrey Mazur, 22, was found under a residential deck on S.E. 32nd just north of T.V. Highway. Mazur was released from jail earlier the same morning and was taken back to jail.

A bottle of liquor was taken from the Hillsboro liquor store on S.E. Sixth Avenue.

A 44-year-old man was arrested for stealing cooking dough from the Alberton’s store on N.E. 25th Avenue.

A stolen Honda out of La Grande was located at S.E. Francis Street and S.W. Cornelius Pass Road.

NOV. 26

Someone removed wiring from the walls of new homes under construction on S.E. Lone Oak.

NOV. 27

A third party hacked into computer and diverted payments to another account on N.W. Croeni Ave.

A vehicle struck a parked vehicle at JoAnn Fabrics on N.E. Butler Street and caused substantial damage to the parked car.

A fake $20 bill was passed to an employee at Shari’s Restaurant on N.W. 185th Avenue.

NOV. 28

A 57-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Grocery Outlet on S. First Avenue.

Two bicycles were reported stolen from under a staircase on N.E. Carlaby Way.

NOV. 29

A 19-year-old man was arrested for stealing a bottle from the liquor store on S.E. Sixth Avenue.

Officers responded to N.W. Connell Avenue to a report of two females arguing.

A man on N.E. Jeffereson reported his customized Giant bicycle (white in color and modified with a drive shaft, 39cc motor, and throttle) stolen.

NOV. 30

Appliances were reported stolen from a vacant rental house on N.W. Garswood Terrace. There were no signs of forced entry.

Two unidentified suspects stole two iPhones from the Cricket store at the 2400 block of N.E. Cornell.

Seventy-five used tires were dumped on a property in the 500 block of S.E. Third Avenue.

A 27-year old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after it was reported he was kicking parked cars along Main Street. Police officers made contact with the man as he walked down the middle of the street on S.E. Third Avenue.

DEC. 1

A 22-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at the Fred Meyer store on N.W. Imbrie Drive.

A 35-year-old man was arrested at S.E.Third Avenue and Main Street for disorderly conduct for harassing bystanders and business owners in the downtown core.

A 62-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at Bi-Mart on T.V. Highway.

DEC. 2

A 47-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting a pair of Diesel jeans from Nordstrom Rack on N.W. Evergreen Parkway.

An 18-year-old man was arrested at the Willow Creek MAX station for theft of services and interfering with public transportation.

A man reported he fell asleep on the MAX lightrail and someone took his backpack as he slept.

A man in the 1400 block of N.W. 189th Way reported his vehicle had three tires slashed and a large scratch down the side.

DEC. 3

A large pile of tires were left in the 2500 block of S.E. 39th Avenue.

A woman reported that her iPhone was stolen from the library.

A woman in the 1900 block of S.E. 32nd Avenue reported an unknown suspect stole a go-cart from her yard sometime between Nov. 17 and Nov. 24.

DEC. 4

A hit and run resulted in a damaged lunch wagon in the 2600 block of S.E.39th Avenue.

Officers arrested a 50-year-old man at Radio Shack on S.E. 10th Avenue. He was reportedly once again dancing with his glow sticks.

A 42-year-old man was arrested for trespass at Labor Ready on S.E. Oak Street.

DEC. 5

Gang grafitti was found on two stall doors in the men’s room at the Civic Center, 150 E. Main St.

DEC. 6

A wedding ring was reported missing from a retirement center on S.E. Century Boulevard.

Theft of a UPS package from a front porch was reported on N.E. Darby Street.

Theft of a wallet was reported at the Fred Meyer on T.V. Highway.

DEC. 7

Numerous occurrences of graffiti on mailboxes, vehicles, garage doors and houses were reported along S.E. 21st and 24th avenues and along S.E. Maple Street.

A robbery occurred at Jackson’s Shell station on N.E. Cornell Road. The suspect fled north on foot across Cornell. A K9 track failed to find the suspect.

A person on N.W. Wessex reported attempting to purchase English Bulldog puppies from a breeder in Turkey. The person paid $500 and did not get any puppies

Police arrested a 45-year-old man in the 400 block of N.W. Jackson Street. He was intoxicated and woke up several families in the neighborhood at 4 a.m.

DEC. 8

Two bicycles were reported stolen in the 400 block of N.E. Edison.

A window was smashed and a cash register stolen at Fastenal on N.E. 25th Avenue.

A man turned himself in at the Hillsboro Police West Precinct for the burglary of Jackson’s Shell station robbery the previous night. Brian Chrsitopher Ward, 43, reported he “couldn’t look at himself in the mirror” because of the guilt.

Luggage left by Alaska Airlines in a doorstep in the 100 block of S.E. 43rd Avenue was stolen. The victim reported Alaska Airlines did not notify her they had left the bags and they were stolen before she got home.

A man was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct and harassment after a fight at Shonna’s on T.V. Highway. The man assaulted a woman and three men before running from the establishment. A K9 track led officers to the suspect.
