Walk for 4-H June 22

All comers are invited to register by June 7 to participate in the 4-H Dollars-for-Scholars Walk-a-Thon at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 22. Money will go towards scholarships for 4-H graduating seniors. Walkers who raise more than $30 in pledges earn raffle tickets as well. The fundraiser will be at Hare Field at 1151 N.E. Small businesses get tech help

The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a technology-focused Build Your Business Workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 29. Resource One President Jim Kinnier will speak on how technology can make your company more efficient, productive and responsive to customers. Business owners outside of Hillsboro are welcome.
