Sept. 20

In the 5100 block of S.E. Golden Road, a 1986 Blue Toyota truck was stolen.

A 1991 Toyota Camry that was stolen was recovered in the 1000 block of N.W. Briarcreek Way.

Sept. 21

Graffiti was found near the intersection of S.E. Eighth Avenue and S.E. Washington Street.

There was a two-car traffic crash on S.E. Fourth Avenue with minor injuries.

Sept. 22

There was a hit and run at Brown Middle School.

A bike was stolen from the 900 block of S.E. 13th Avenue.

In the 300 block of S.E. Washington Street behind Four Season bowling alley, a 73-year-old man was struck by a vehicle driven by a 45-year-old man. He fell back, striking his head on the asphalt. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sept. 23

A flatbed trailer was stolen from the 3100 block of S.W. 234th Avenue.

Money was stolen from a vehicle in the 2600 block of N.E. First Drive.

There were two traffic accidents near the intersection of N.W. 206th Avenue and N.W. Wilkins Street, and N.W. Evergreen Road and N.W. John Olsen roads.

A 24-year-old woman was arrested after stealing merchandise from Trade Secret in the 2200 block of N.W. 185th Avenue.

Sept. 24

There were traffic crashes near the intersections of S.E. Century Boulevard and S.E. Johnson Street, 1st Avenue and N.E. Lincoln Street, and S.E. Sixth Avenue and S.E. Baseline Street.

There was a hit and run in the 6000 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway.

In the 2700 block of N.W. 188th Avenue, a man reported his vehicle broken into while he was eating dinner. He reported a briefcase, laptop and other items stolen.

Graffiti was found in the 400 block of S.E. 16th Avenue and the 1000 block of N.E. Jackson School Road.

Sept. 25

A painting was stolen from Taco Bell in the 6200 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway.

In the 2500 block of N.E. Amber Avenue, a victim reported someone entered her vehicle during the night and stole her purse with her prescription medications.

In the 2200 block of N.W. Alley Avenue, a man reported his red 1997 Honda Accord stolen while parked in the garage at Buffalo Wild Wings.

Sept. 26

A wallet was stolen from the 24-Hour Fitness in the 6000 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway.

In the 800 block of N.W. Fieldcrest Way, a green, 1994 Mercury Villager was stolen.

A tablet computer was stolen from Staples in the 2300 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway.

In the 1100 block of N.E. Grant Street, a 1995 red Nissan was stolen.

A bike was stolen from the 300 block of S.E. 8th Avenue.

Sept. 27

There was a hit and run in the 100 block of S.E. 10th Avenue.

There was a crash in the Home Depot parking lot in the 1900 block of S.E. Minter Bridge Road.

Graffiti was found in the 1500 block of N.E. Grant Street.

A window was smashed in the 4000 block of N.W. Cornelius Pass Road.

Sept. 28

A customer dined and dashed at Shari’s in the 2100 block of N.W. 185th Avenue.

A community mailbox in the 2000 block of S.E. 44th Avenue was pried open and damaged.

A man lost his wallet near the intersection of N.W. Alder Street and N.W. 229th Avenue.

A man walked into Nordstrom in the 18100 block of N.W. Evergreen Parkway, grabbed several handbags and fled.

Sept. 29

Near the intersection of S.W. Baseline and S.W. Dennis streets, a battery was stolen from a vehicle.

Sept. 30

In the 2700 block of S.E. Palmer Court, a 2004 Honda Accord was stolen.

In the 1100 block of N.E. Birchwood Drive, a bike was stolen from private property.

Oct. 1

A license plate was stolen from a U-Haul truck in the 2300 block of N.E. Cornell Road.

An Oregon Trail card was reported lost or stolen in the 200 block of S.E. 10th Avenue.

In the 800 block of N.E. Lincoln Street, a woman reported her front license plate stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at Lincoln Elementary School.

A 36-year-old man went to the Hank’s Thriftway Deli, ate some food, and left. He was trespassed from the store and arrested.

Oct. 2

Graffiti was found on a U.S. Postal Service mailbox in the 1200 block of N.E. Third Avenue.

Oct. 3

On N.E. Cornell Road near N.E. 48th Avenue, a driver apparently had a major medical episode and lost consciousness while driving. The driver of the vehicle struck six cars waiting at a stoplight. The driver died en route to the hospital from issues unrelated to the accident.

In the 400 block of S.E. Eighth Avenue, officers saw a vehicle belonging to a robbery suspect. The suspect refused to surrender and the house was contained. After a five-hour standoff, the 47-year-old surrendered. Cornelius Police Department is taking over the investigation.

Oct. 4

An unknown suspect was driving a vehicle and hit a parked car in the 4800 block of S.E. Teakwood Street, causing back bumper damage. This was a hit and run.

Officers received a report of a lost wallet in Winco in the 7300 block of N.E. Butler Street.

A woman reported her purse was stolen from her table at Stanford’s restaurant in the 2700 block of N.W. 188th Avenue while she went to the bathroom.

Police received a call about a loose dog in the 1500 block of S.E. Bush Street. The dog killed three of the caller’s chickens and bit the caller’s thumb when he was attempting to remove the bird from the dog’s mouth. The dog was taken to the Dove Lewis animal hospital.

Oct. 5

An unknown driver hit a parking post at Cornell Coin Laundry in the 2400 block of N.E. Cornell Road.

In the 400 block of First Avenue, an unknown person dumped potted plants and took pots worth about $400.

A vehicle was broken into in the 300 block of N.W. Adams Street and a purse was stolen.

A 25-year-old was arrested and lodged at the Washington County Jail for stealing services on the MAX.

Officers responded to the 2000 block of S.E. Tualatin Valley Highway at Bi-Mart on criminal mischief.
