The Greater Hillsboro Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 10th annual Latino Cultural Festival scheduled for Sunday, April 13, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Tom Hughes Civic Center Plaza in downtown Hillsboro.

The festival started as part of the Hillsboro 2020 Vision Plan. Each year, the Latino Cultural Festival has grown, adding elements that continue to highlight Hillsboro’s cultural diversity and Latino population. The mission of the festival is to connect, embrace and engage the Latino community in Hillsboro while providing an opportunity for people of all ethnicities to celebrate Washington County’s diverse cultures, rich with tradition and heritage.

The chamber is working on some special features for this year’s celebration, which will go even further in connecting our community across cultures, according to Jill Hult of the chamber. Festival favorites will continue, including the futsal tournament, parade, art village representing Latino artists and entertainment on the plaza.

The chamber is looking for a variety of supporters to help with the event, including presenting and supporting sponsorships, business exhibitors (for profit/non-profit), food vendors, market vendors and volunteers.
